I was introduced to jewelry making by a wonderful friend and artist while living in Athens, GA and absolutely loved it. I originally started making pieces for myself, but loved creating jewelry so much that I opened an Etsy store to share my work.
I'm inspired by the simple things in life. I love being outdoors, whether in the mountains or by the ocean. I find that spending time in nature helps me to reflect on life and channel my creativity into making beautiful pieces of jewelry. I have always loved native american jewelry and tend to use a lot of turquoise and complementing stones in my work.
I enjoy making delicate pieces that can be worn every day, as well as bold pieces that bring interest to an otherwise simple outfit. I seem to be at the age where all of my friends are getting engaged and married, and have been fortunate to be able to make the jewelry for their bridal party. I love that my jewelry will be a small part of their huge day and something that their bridesmaids will be able to wear for years to come, reminding them of that special occasion!
It makes me so happy when I make a piece of jewelry that I love, but it's even better when I end up creating something that brings joy to others! Giving a special piece of jewelry is such a great way to show appreciation, love, gratitude, etc for another person, or for yourself! <3
